Linzy Wagner – President

Hi PARCers! My name is Linzy and I am your dorm president! I’m from Plainfield, IL which is a very interesting little suburb not too far from here. If you need anything: advice, food, candy, or someone to go to a sporting event with, I got you! I’m planning on majoring in biology and will most likely go to Med School but I’m still not completely sure. I love sports, especially baseball! And listening to all kinds of music… if you’re in my suite you might even get a chance to hear my awesome singing in the shower. I am always down for late night runs for coffee and you’ll catch me outside whenever the weather allows it. Samantha Montag – Vice President

Hey, I’m Sam and I’m from the western suburbs of Chicago – specifically Villa Park. I am a Junior Pre-Med student double majoring in Biololgy and Science in Human Culture. As the Vice President I will be helping out with a variety of activities and events, the most important of being your schedules for Wildcat Welcome Week with regard to PARC. You will often find me doing homework into the wee hours of the night up on the fourth floor, the curse of being a Pre-Med student, but in my free time I enjoy playing intense games of Monopoly and/or Banangrams, watching TV with my suitemates, and trying new foods in Evanston. Ogbemi Rewane – Secretary

Hey, I’m Ogbemi (OG) Rewane and I’m the PARC secretary and web chair. I should be an Econ major, Computer Science minor but I’m too lazy to declare it. My duties are to manage the PARC website and approve emails sent through the listserv. I love soccer, watching TV shows, playing video games and reading. Reading used to be my favourite hobby but YouTube has taken the top spot(seriously, I am constantly on it). Hey everyone! My name is Mohamad Akef, and I am one of your academic co-chairsalongside Erin Quick. My family and I are Egyptian, but we currently live in the wonderful city of Plymouth, MN. I am an economics major and poli sci minor, so if you guys have any questions on those two disciplines, you’re always welcome to ask me any questions you may have. When I’m not studying, I am involved in other activities like Quiz Bowl and marketing. I also enjoy soccer and anime/manga in my free time. Erin Quick – Academic Co-Chair

Hey guys welcome to PARC! My name is Erin Quick and I’ll be one of your academic co-chairs. I’m from sunny San Diego and I love doing things outside, so you’ll probably see me sitting in front of PARC studying or going for a run when the weather is nice (also you should play IM sports, there’s really fun!). I’m majoring in Chemistry and currently minoring in Humanities, so feel free to come to me with any questions about your classes. I also have a passion for good food so feel free to come to me for restaurant suggestions (I can’t promise I’ll have been but I know most of the good places). Hopefully you’ll meet some cool people at PARC, personally I think they’re pretty great and I can’t wait to meet you all!

Tessa D’Agosta- Historian

Yo PARCers, I’m Tessa and I am the 2012-2013 PARC Historian. Essentially what this means is I catalogue a day in the life of a PARCer and I take pictures, so stay sharp – i’ll be lurking around every corner. I’m a sophomore in Medill, so no, I cannot help you with your math. In my spare time between the hours of 1 and 5 am I like to watch and rewatch SNL skits and then re-enact them. Francisco Zalduendo- IM Chair

Hey everyone, my name is Francisco and I am PARC’s intramural sports chair. Everyone at PARC loves sports and I.M. sports are a great way to relax and get to know people. So if you’re interested in sports or just wanna have fun then I strongly encourage you all to participate in I.M.’s. Anyways, a bit about me. I’m from Bethesda, Maryland (just outside of Washington D.C.) and because of that I love the Redskins, Wizards and pretty much anything else from Washington D.C. I also love listening to music and you’ll soon learn about my sad obsession with the song “Do the John Wall”. In addition, my parents are from Argentina so I love watching soccer (especially Lionel Messi) and eating beef. As for my major, I am currently studying Economics and Mathematics. Vasiliki Valkanas – Social Co-Chair

Jackie Gallo - Sustainability Chair

Hey! I’m Jackie, from Inverness, IL. I have no clue what my major is, but I work hard everyday to figure it out, through lots of visits to Taco Bell, chilling with mis amigos, and taking daily siestas. In the midst of all that business, I’m the Sustainability Chair of PARC. Under my reign there will be no lights, television or showers in the dorm next year, so get excited.

Hey everyone. My name is Spencer Schmider and I am the PARC Treasurer. I’m in Weinberg and will probably be majoring in some combination of Political Science, History, and/or International Studies.
